Key to Navigator's immediate ROI, Navigator provides pre-built application modules that provides point and click access to Application Data. No knowledge of databases or SQL query language, or proprietary scripting languages are required to create reports, as the Navigator report module provides a pre-mapped database reporting tree with all the database conversions, joins, and link in place. Even better, the data is organized in Report Types that match the business process and roles of the Application, so end users can quickly find what they are looking for.

Navigator includes a core set of canned reports that provide immediate value to the end user. More importantly, all canned reports are editable so that they can be used as templates and modified by the Report Builder to create the exact report needed for your organization.
Leveraging the latest Web based technology, the Navigator Web Generator provides a powerful method for viewing, analyzing, and distributing report data. Customers have been using Navigator since the year 2000 and based on their feedback from years of experience, we have included many pre-calculated fields to make SLA and Trend reporting easy. For example, Navigator includes a field for Elapsed Time Open which take the Current Date/Time and an Open Date field in the Application Database to provide how many Days, Hours, Minutes, and/or seconds a particular Service Desk ticket has been opened. Other examples include adding a field that calculates the time between open and closed so you can quickly see how long its taking to close tickets or what the average time to close is. If there is a calculated field you need specific to your environment, OakTree Navigator Professional Services can assist with getting it added to your Application Module.
From the Web Generator or the Report Builder, report results are displayed in a power grid that allows users the ability to group, sort, filter, re-arrange columns, and correct report data if needed.
